Event Overview

Smithers Silicone Elastomer Summit is the key U.S. event that brings together elastomers experts to identify emerging prospects and address challenges and changes facing the industry. This event is co-located with Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) Summit; purchasing a ticket to either Silicone Elastomers or TPE allows access to both summits, for the price of one! Attendees can access any presentation across the two day event, benefiting from double the networking opportunities, double the presentations, and the ability to meet contacts in one convenient location.  Both of these events include crucial market updates and an outline of future trends - you can't succeed in the elastomers industry without having the knowledge to forecast changes and industry needs.

The 2019 agenda focused on material and processing updates, HCR, LSR, high performance "smart" materials, processing needs, overcoming obstacles to meet the demands of various applications, considerations for the future, and an outline of emerging opportunities, including medical, transportation/automotive, 3DPrinting, sustainability, and more. The program included seven beneficial networking events, including a lunch and evening reception.
