Stephen Devellis, Senior Research Technician, North America, Environmental Risk Sciences, joined Smithers in 2008 as a Chemistry Technician II, and has progressed in roles gaining more responsibility.
Stephen is a method development chemist that specializes in the analysis of difficult test substances at trace levels in complex environmental matrices. During his career he has developed methods for hundreds of individual compounds including plant protection, pharmaceuticals, biomolecules, and industrial chemicals.
Stephen attended the United States Air Force Academy as a Biochemistry and Bioscience Major for 3 years. He currently has a BS degree in Biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
