Meet Smithers at AAPS PharmSci 360 in San Antonio

November 9-12, 2025 | Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center | San Antonio, TX | Booth #2527

As a long-standing supporter and exhibitor with the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), Smithers is proud to return to PharmSci 360 — one of the most respected scientific meetings in the pharmaceutical development community. This year’s event, held November 9–12 in San Antonio, Texas, brings together scientists, consultants, and biopharma innovators to explore the latest advances in bioanalysis, pharmacokinetics, and biotherapeutic development.

A Trusted Partner in the AAPS Community

Smithers has exhibited and participated in AAPS events for many years, including the Summer Scientific Forum and the National Biotechnology Conference. Over time, these events have become more than just conferences — they’re where relationships deepen and ideas take shape that influence the direction of the bioanalytical industry.

“We see PharmSci 360 as one of our major meetings of the year,” said Connie, Senior Director, Business Development at Smithers PDS. “It brings together exactly the audience we want to reach — scientists and decision-makers focused on bioanalytical science and the challenges of advancing complex therapeutics.”

Highlights You Won’t Want to Miss

At this year’s PharmSci 360, Smithers PDS will showcase its expanding capabilities in large molecule bioanalysis, including ADA and NAb immunogenicity testing, biomarker analysis, and molecular biology services such as ddPCR for cell and gene therapy programs.
Attendees can also look forward to several key contributions from the Smithers team:

  • Agostinho Rocha, PhD, Site Head, Ewing, NJ, will moderate a scientific panel discussion, bringing industry experts together to discuss emerging trends in bioanalysis.
  • A Smithers-authored paper, "Validation of a Göttingen Minipig Gene Therapy Biodistribution Assay for AVGN7 Using Droplet Digital Polymerase Chain Reaction”,  has been accepted for publication on 09/11/2025 in The AAPS Journal. Authored by: Agostinho, Tony Yu, Magdalena Loveland, Dhrumi Patel, and AAVogen

Connecting with the Next Generation of Innovators

While Smithers has long been a trusted partner for large pharmaceutical organizations, this year’s focus extends intentionally to small and mid-sized biotech companies and consultant groups driving much of today’s innovation in biotherapeutics.

“Over the last few years, we’ve put processes and procedures in place that allow us to serve smaller biotech organizations more efficiently,” noted Rachel Boryk, VP Marketing, Smithers. “These companies often have a single molecule in development, and we can help them navigate everything from early PK/TK to immunogenicity support. We’re also eager to engage with consultants — to share perspectives, listen, and collaborate.”

Smithers will be exhibiting throughout PharmSci 360, with representatives from both the scientific and business development teams available for one-on-one discussions. If you’re attending, be sure to stop by to learn how Smithers’ deep expertise in bioanalytical method development, validation, and regulatory compliance can support your next program.

And while details will be announced soon, Smithers will also be co-hosting an exclusive evening happy hour alongside two other industry leaders — Ascendia Pharmaceutical Solutions and Olon USA — in a private Riverwalk venue just steps from the convention center. Space will be limited, so interested attendees are encouraged to reach out early to request an invitation.
